Bruce’s Auto Sign

This is one of a series of sculptures depicting old-fashioned business signs. I do this because I think they are cool. Not all these works are reproductions of real-world signs, but this one is. As of this writing, Bruce’s U-Save Auto Sales and Rentals is still in operation, on Jefferson Street in Lafayette, Louisiana, where the original signs can still be found. This is an envisioning of one of those signs from when it was newer and less weatherbeaten.

The materials are 3D printed PLA plastic, cardstock, ink, and glue.

Limited numbered series of 25, includes certificate of authenticity signed by the artist and a nice multicolored box.

Note: The phone numbers on the sign are not still both correct – if you want to contact the business, please look them up rather than calling these numbers, which might now be owned by someone else.
